We are currently working on a couple of scooter projects - a Vespa PX LC 200cc and a SP Lambretta Trike 250cc (full design & build).

We at SP Developments Ltd are always working designs and parts for 2 stroke engines.

We have now brought a CNC Lathe and Milling machine along with a surface grinder, this decision was taken so that we can better cater for our part requirements to provide a value sevice for our customers.

After speaking to you the scooterist we first started working on upgrading the CC of the SP engines to 190cc from 172cc (after 5 years of runing this engine), this was achieved with a test engine and good results.

Since then we have looked at the 2 stroke scooter market which is ever changing and clearly at a fast pace, the engineering decsion was taken to produce 250cc engines now which 10 off engines are currently being machined here in Barwell UK.
